About This Experience
Join this 5-hour shared humpback whale watching tour departing from the west coast of Tahiti, available seasonally from July 20 to November 20.
Aboard the Kaoriki, a covered aluminum motor catamaran, you will search for and observe humpback whales in their natural habitat with certified local guides. The tour includes a full safety briefing, scenic ocean navigation, respectful whale observation, and educational commentary on whale behavior and marine conservation. Depending on sea conditions and whale activity, an optional in-water observation under accredited supervision may be offered.
The 5-hour duration is designed to maximize the chance of a memorable encounter without feeling rushed, though the tour may return earlier upon request.
Guests may also encounter bottlenose dolphins, pilot whales, and pelagic sharks along the way.
Non-swimmers are welcome and can enjoy the experience entirely from the boat. Maximum 8 guests per departure for an intimate, exclusive experience.

Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the activity starts.
To secure your booking and reserve your spot, a deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation or no-show. We will send you a link after we received your reservation. If you are unable to attend, you may request a date change at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour time. Date changes are subject to availability and operator approval. A date change is not guaranteed and does not entitle the customer to a refund. Your safety is our priority. If we cancel the tour due to unsafe weather conditions, safety reasons, or insufficient participants, you will have the choice between rescheduling your tour or receiving a full refund of the amount paid. As this is a wildlife experience, sightings cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, no refund will be issued if whales or other marine animals are not seen during the tour. Any eligible refund will be made to the original payment method used for the booking. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer. Any refund granted outside the terms of this policy remains at our sole discretion and may be subject to deduction of non-refundable payment processing fees.
